Earning and Use of Cashback

1. How can I earn Cashback?

You can earn cashback when you purchase at ZALORA with cashback promotions, either by using a code or auto-applied on your order.

2. Is there a limit/max amount I can earn from each order?

Maximum cashback earned is distributed proportionally among the items eligible for the same voucher code, based on the item price after the discount. To know more about this, see the sample scenarios below:

Scenario 1

Brad wants to use the voucher code MC7ZP3 which gives 10% off + 10% cashback and has a max cashback earned amount of Php 200. He adds two items to his cart, Item A (price after discount Php 1868.6) and Item B (price after discount Php 1169.1). Both items are eligible for MCGAAI. When Brad applies MCGAAI to his cart, his total earned cashback for this order is Php 200 because of the maximum cashback limit. The total earned cashback of Php 200 is proportionally divided between the items in his cart.

Scenario 2

Dave wants to use the voucher code MCGAAI which gives 10% off + 10% cashback and has a max cashback earned amount of Php 200.

He adds two items to his cart, Item A (price after discount Php 848.5) and Item B (price after discount Php 1169.1). Both items are eligible for MCGAAI.

Dave then adds Item C to his cart. Item C price after discount is Php 1279.2 and is not eligible for MCGAAI. However, it is eligible for the automatically applied voucher code CBR875. CBR875 gives 20% off + 20% cashback, has no cashback limit and is automatically added to checkout (no need to enter manually).

Dave now applies MCGAAI to his cart. His total earned cashback for this order is Php 455.84: Php 200 from MCGAAI (which Dave manually entered at checkout) and Php 255.84 from CBR875 (which was automatically applied for Dave at checkout).

The total earned cashback of Php 200 is proportionally divided between the eligible items in his cart, Item A and Item B. In addition, Dave earns Php 255.84 from Item C.

3. Where can I see my total Cashback balance?

Simply log in to your ZALORA account. Go to "My Account" > Cashback to view your cashback balance

4. How do I compute the cashback I will earn from my order?

Cashback is calculated from the price of the item after discount, where the amount of cashback earned depends on the current promotions

Example:

The current promotional voucher code has 10% off item price and 2% Cashback for Item A (750Php)

-Item A price at Php750 with 10% discount will be priced at 675Php

-The cashback will be earned from the 675Php x 2% which is 13.50Php

Cashback earned 13.50Php on Item A

5. How can I use my cashback?

Cashback can be used on any items sold on ZALORA excluding electronic gift cards. Cashback cannot be used to pay for shipping and handling fees.

At checkout, cashback can be used to pay for up to 30% to 50% of the total item value after discounts, but before wallet credit and shipping fees. ZALORA Now subscribers will enjoy free shipping on items sold by ZALORA!

Note:

You cannot choose how much cashback to use on your order
Your available cashback will be applied proportionately to the number of items in your order

Example:

Order subtotal price is 1143 Php before discount
After discounts, the order value is 1143-10%=1028.7
The total usable cashback is 514.72, which is less than 50% of the order value after discounts. If you choose to use cashback, the entire 514.72 will be used and deducted from your order.
Total to be paid after discounts and cashback is:
1028.7 (order value after discount)
+149 (shipping fee)
-190 (wallet credit)
-514.72 (cashback)
Order Total: 472.98
Any cashback earned from this order can only be used after manual confirmation or automatic deposit into cashback

6. Does my Cashback expire?

All cashback amounts have different expiry dates, depending on the promotion for when the cashback was earned. Don’t worry, cashback will be used in order of expiry date, regardless of when the cashback was manually confirmed or automatically deposited.

For refunded cashback, it expires one month after it is added back to your cashback wallet

7. Where can I check the Cashback expiration date?

Cashback expiry dates can be found in your cashback wallet.

8. Are Cashback balances refundable?

Yes. For orders that used cashback but were Cancelled due to Failed Delivery or Cancelled/ Refused upon delivery, you will get your cashback refund once the package is received back at the ZALORA warehouse and reflection might take within 24 hours.
